Instrumental reports went home yesterday. If anyone did not receive one please let Ms Draper know.

Instrumental Music Programme 2016

Notes need to be returned to Ms Draper or the front office by the end of term, Friday 11 December. Most students will get their first choice of instrument. Ms Draper will only contact you if there are no places left and your second choice may be required. Classical guitar students do require a specific type of guitar so please come and ask before purchasing.

Return of School Hire Instruments

If you are using a school instrument and are departing the school this year, Ms Draper will require your instrument back in the music room by Thursday 10 December. Please make sure all cleaning rods and straps are in your case. If you are continuing next year with your instrument you can keep your instrument for the holidays unless it requires any repair or servicing. If so please let Ms Draper know. Thank you.

On Monday, our flute, saxophone and clarinet ensemble performed Christmas Carols at St John of God Hospital in Murdoch and Riverton Forum. Thank you to Mr Berwick, Mrs Foster, Mrs Xavier and Mr Hofmeester for providing a taxi service for our students. The carols were well received and the children performed beautifully.

We have had a brilliant response to the Scitech after school programme due to be run in Term One 2016! The expression of interest notes had to be returned by last Friday as places were given on a first-come first-serve basis. Both of the workshops are now completely full and because of the overwhelming response we are looking at running another workshop in Term Two for those that missed out. The workshop dates have changed slightly and the first group workshop will commence on Thursday 11th February running from 3.15-4.15pm. The second workshop will commence on Thursday 10th March running from 3.15-4.15pm. A note will be sent home in the first week of Term One with information regarding which group your child is in. Please see me if you have a preference for workshops at the beginning or end of term. Lisa Tilzey, Science Specialist.

Twista Bolognaise will not available tomorrow. Thank you for your understanding.
