School Carols Night- Thursday 4 December

Musicians required! As part of our Christmas Concert, classes will be presenting an item. We will also have the Senior Choir lead us in some traditional carols for the whole school community to join in. As we have many talented, musical parents within the school community, we are seeking expressions of interest from any parents who may like to play their instrument in a small band to accompany the choir in the carol singing. If you are interested in joining in please let Ms Draper know by 15 November.

Tickets for this Friday's disco have been sent home today with your eldest child. If you do not receive your tickets today, they will be sent home either tomorrow (Thursday) or Friday.

Thank you to those who volunteered to chaperone on the night. The response was overwhelming. Tickets for chaperones will come home with your children.

Tea and coffee will be available in the library for those who would like to stay at school.

Thank you to all the families who have placed orders in support of this fundraiser. The cut off date for orders was Monday 3 November. It is expected that you should receive the finished products by early December. Any further queries please contact Erin Leech:

The Early Years are looking at the possibility of running this program in 2015. A Perceptual Motor Program aims to give the child experiences in seeing, hearing, touching, processing, making perceptual judgment's and reacting through carefully sequenced activities which children enjoy doing like running, hopping, skipping, jumping, balancing, crawling, climbing, throwing, catching, bowling, sliding, etc., using a variety of common and specially designed equipment. We are lucky to have a lot of the necessary equipment already, however, most of it is in storage. We are seeking some assistance from any available parents with children in Kindy to Year 2 to help Mr McArdle remove various pieces of PMP equipment from the sheds, give them a good dusting and clean, then transfer them to the school hall. This is quite a time consuming task for one person so we would really appreciate any help next Thursday morning 13 November from 8.45am. Many thanks. Erin Leech.

Thank you to all our horse owners and attendees who supported our Race Night. We hope everyone had a great night.

A big thank you to our main sponsor, RAMS Home Loans Willetton and our race sponsors - MediTrain, JMK Karate, First Choice Conveyancing, Forty Winks Cannington, Fro Town, Flowers Eddy CPA, Juice Plus, Counsel & Co CPA.

Thanks also to the other businesses and families that donated prizes for the night. More details are in this link - please support these businesses.

The evening did not happen without a lot of work from a team of people. To the committee - Sharon Bird, Vanessa Chen, Maria Pizzuto, Paola Mena, Katrina Cooper, Kara Passi and Erin Leech, our MC's for the night - Max Leech and Brad Bird and everyone else who helped, thank you.

Tomorrow, Thursday 6 November, is the last day for all bookclub orders to be returned. Please complete all your details so that we can get your order to you as quickly as possible. Thank you for your support of our school library and for helping to obtain additional resources for the benefit of our children. Rachel and Michelle.
