Classical Guitar Concert

Please note that the date for the guitar concert has changed. It has moved forward one day and will now be held on Thursday 27 November commencing at 6.30pm in the school hall. Anyone is invited to attend. If you are considering playing classical guitar next year, why not come and see what it's all about.

Band Rehearsal

Yr 6's are not required at band in week 7 or 8. Ms Draper only requires the 2015 band members for the last 2 weeks of term so that new music can be distributed and played before the Christmas holidays. There will be an invite going to a few new band members to play in the last two weeks of term. Band is on a Wednesday and starts at 8 am.

Instrumental Music Programme 2015

Invitations will be sent out to students in Years 3-5 this week for those interested in playing a musical instrument at Orana in 2015. Priority will be given to existing students and there will be a limited number of places on each instrument.

Notes will not be sent home to current Yr 2 students on the instrumental programme as a number of tutors are not teaching Yr 3s next year. If current Yr 2 students wish to be considered for an instrument next year, please see Ms Draper to discuss, but priority will be given to the Yrs 4-6 students. To be considered for a place next year, notes need to be returned to Ms Draper by Monday 8 December 2015.
