Our prayers and thoughts are with Mrs Fullgrabe and her family on the death of her son Luke, who passed away last week. May Luke rest in peace with God in heaven.

Orana Annual General Meetings

The AGM's of both the School Board and the P&F will be held tonight, Thursday, 21 November, starting at 7.00pm in the School Hall. We encourage all Orana community members to supportthis event.

Out of School Hours - Holiday Program

Please note that Friday, 20 December, will be the last day at Orana OSHC for 2013. The Centre will re-open on Monday 6 January 2014.

The holiday program will be distributed today. If you do not receive a copy please pick one up from the Centre or the School Office.

All bookings and enrolments should be handed in by 9 December. Staff are unable to accept bookings for the DEC/JAN holiday program unless your account is up-to-date.

Bookings are now being taken for "Before" and "After" School Care in 2014. Please pick up a copy of the booking form from the OSHC Centre. Bookings must be finalised by Monday, 3 February in order to confirm a place.

If your child is commencing Pre-Primary in 2014, he/she is able to attend the OSHC Centre from Monday, 6 January.

If your child is commencing Kindergarten in 2014, he/she is able to attend the Centre from 3 February, 2014. Your child must be four years old to attend. The days available to Kindy-aged children are TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY and THURSDAY.

CPSSA Cricket Carnival

A number of students from Years Five and Six will be attending an inter-school cricket carnival next Tuesday. Students have been notified and we wish them all the best as they represent our school.

Guitar Concert

A guitar concert will take place in the School Hall on Thursday, 28 November, between 6.30pm and 7.30pm. Guitar students will showcase their talents and all families are welcome to attend.

Chess Club

Our chess club has finished for the year and will begin again in 2014. Many students have enjoyed the weekly sessions and we thank the parents who assisted in any way throughout the year. A special thank you to Mrs Bosnyak and Mrs Cakir who assisted and encouraged the children to develop their chess skills.
