This week we farewell our Percussion Teacher Tegan LeBrun. Tegan has secured a music scholarship to complete a Master's in Arts Degree in Classical Percussion Performance at the prestigious Royal Academy of Music in London. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Tegan for her contribution to the Music Programme at Orana. She has been a great asset to the School and has gone over and above what has been expected of her at Orana. We wish Tegan all the best for her further studies. Chris Scaglioni will start as the new Percussion Teacher in Week 4; so we welcome Chris to Orana.

Over the last two days we have had 7 vocal soloists and 26 wind solos and duets perform at Zenith Music in Claremont. Congratulations to all these people for making the effort to not only prepare their solo performance but also have the courage to enter as a soloist. Well done to everyone!

Please consider your options and return the envelope to the Class Teacher by Friday 28 August. Please note that you have the option to place your photo order online instead of filling in the pre-paid envelope, however you must still return your child's individual photo envelope. Refer to your child's envelope for details (ring 9342 3465 if you have queries).

Family Photos

If you wish to have a family photo please collect this special envelope from the School Office as soon as possible. Carefully read all instructions on the ordering envelope as money may be in one child's envelope and recorded on a sibling's envelope. No envelope should be placed inside another child's envelope.

All students will have the opportunity to purchase Specialist Group Photos (eg choir / band), once the photos have been delivered to the School. More information related to group photos will be given at a later date.

If you have any further questions please call in to speak with me.
