Band Performance at Open Night

The school band will be performing as part of our school open night. Please be ready to start playing at 5.15 pm.

Time: 5.15pm - 6.15 pm

Venue: Quad

Uniform: Sports Uniform (Jumpers on as it may get cool outside in the quad)

Instrument Cases: To be left in the music room.

Bring: Water bottle, music, reeds, etc.


Congratulations to our Interschool team. Unfortunately we didn't bring home any shields this year but we did have some fantastic top ten results: Year 3 Boys Brayden Atwell 4th place, Year 3 Girls Grace Foster 6th place, Year 4 Boys Toby McLoughney 6th place, Year 4 girls Shakira Goltman 10th place, Year 5 Girls Danae Civich 1st place and Carly Pizutto 3rd place and Year 6 Boys Brodie Wren 8th place. Orana Race Night

Notes for Horse Sponsorship were sent home yesterday. You can come and buy your winning horse for $20 at the school Open Night on Thursday, or email if you are unable to attend. You can also purchase your seat for the Race Night at this time.

A community garden is being developed on Glenmoy Avenue, Willetton adjacent to the school kitchen garden at Rostrata Primary School. Community gardens may be communal/shared gardens, or allotment gardens - many gardens combine the two styles. This is a great opportunity to grow vegetables, herbs, indigenous plants and an orchard and build great community connections. Coming up at the NEW Willetton Community Garden, a Come & Try Day - ALL welcome - just call in to look around on Saturday 25 October, 12 midday - 4.00pm, Glenmoy Avenue, Willetton (parking at Rostrata Avenue shops).

Spring in the Garden Workshops (gold coin donation - new and experienced gardeners welcome to come to one or all three.
