The next important events in the 2015 Sacramental Program are the Commitment Masses for the Year 4 children who will be receiving the Sacrament of First Holy Communion in June.

The Commitment Masses will be held on Saturday 2 May (6.30 pm Mass) and Sunday 3 May (9.00am and 10.30am Mass). All parents and children are expected to attend one of the Masses, immediately after which you are required to select the date on which you would like your child to receive the Sacrament (either Saturday 20 June at the 6.30 pm Mass or Sunday 21 June at the 10.30 am Mass).

Please don't hesitate to call Una Henderson on 0414 955 253 if you have any queries.

Performing Arts Festival 2015

If you are interested in your child entering the Performing Arts Festival this year, entry forms are available from Ms Draper, Ms Whyte or the front office. Students are eligible to enter as a soloist once they reach Year 4. Bible reading is open to students in Years 1-6. All entries are online this year so the school has created a form for you to fill in with all the details that we require. A copy of the music must accompany your child's entry form if he/she is an instrumental or vocal soloist. The instrumental tutors will be entering a number of soloists and ensembles.

We encourage students who are learning piano, string or other instrument outside of school to enter. Your private music teacher will need to fill in the entry form. Please be aware that vocal soloists are required to have an accompanist and cannot perform to a backing track. Microphones are also not allowed. Solo entry costs are $16 and it would be appreciated if you send your entry fee with your entry form.

Entries are due by next Wednesday 6 May (Week 3). We cannot accept late entries.
