Junior Choir Rehearsals - Week 6
Due to the Years 3-6 Mass in the Church next Tuesday 17 June, the Junior Choir will not be rehearsing next Tuesday morning. Instead we will rehearse at 2.30 - 3.05pm on Tuesday afternoon.

Musical Instrument Care
If you are using a school instrument, please be reminded that children need to take care of the instrument and make sure it is returned to its case and put away properly if it is not being used. Please do not allow siblings to play with these instruments. We have already had a few damaged instruments this year and parents are responsible for covering the cost of any damage. Instruments are expensive and need to be looked after accordingly.

MUMS RAISING TEENAGE BOYS

As the primary female role model in a boy's life, the mother plays an important role in the development of their son's identity including their ability to be nurturing. This workshop will discuss:
• The importance of the mother-son relationship
• What boys need from their mums
• Practical ways to improve and maintain a positive and rewarding relationship which could include:
• Mother's need to have some knowledge of their son's world
• Attachment and boundaries and the consequences
• Importance of negotiation and its necessary skills
• Allowing decision-making
• Risk taking and sexuality mutual respect
• Steps taken to hand over the control to teenagers as they demonstrate responsibility and appropriate self-management skills
• Need for appropriate knowledge of modern technology in order to make reasonable decisions
