Instrumental Music 2015

All students received their first choice of instrument (unless you received a phone call from Ms Draper in the holidays). Lessons will start this week for Flute, Sax, Clarinet, Brass and Classical Guitar. Voice and Bass Guitar will start week 2 and Percussion will start week 4 as Ms Le Brun is performing in Melbourne for Opera Victoria. You should have received an email from the tutor with your timetable.

All timetables are displayed on the board outside the music room.

All instruments are to be left in the band room. Please use the storage shelves available so we don't have instruments all over the floor. If you are hiring a school instrument and are a beginner then you will receive your instrument and music diary at your first lesson.

ASSISTANCE WITH FEES - Health Care Card Tuition Fee Discount Scheme

The Catholic Bishops of Western Australia are determined that no family be denied the opportunity of education in a Catholic school because of financial difficulties.

The Health Care Card Tuition Fee Discount Scheme was implemented in 2005 and offers discount on tuition fees to holders of a means-tested family Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card. The scheme offers significant, automatic tuition fee discounts to both Catholic and non-Catholic families.

Families that qualify for the scheme will pay AU$230 for kindergarten and primary school tuition fees and AU$1400 for secondary school tuition fees for 2015. Specific charges such as subject and building levies and excursion costs will still apply, however these can also be discussed with the Principal.

If you hold a current Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card please provide a copy of this to the school office and complete the required form no later than Friday 13 February to ensure that the appropriate discount is applied to your account.
