Instrumental Music 2015

All timetables are displayed on the board outside the music room. If you are hiring a school instrument, you should have received a hire form. Can you please return these signed forms back to Ms Draper or the office. Congratulations to 95% of students on getting to their music lesson on time and without the tutor having to come and collect you. Let's aim for 100% every week.

Classical Guitar Ensemble - Change of time

Rehearsal for guitar ensemble has changed to before school on a Thursday due to lunchtime being very noisy. It will now be from 8.15am - 9.00am in the band room every Thursday morning. Students will be eligible to join guitar ensemble once they have met a minimum standard.

All rehearsals are now up and running. If you are late to school you still need to come to rehearsals. It is better to be late than not here at all!

Students who would like to train for the swimming carnival can come to Riverton Leisureplex on the above dates and times to get in some practice and see where they may fit into the carnival.

Trials at Northlake Senior Campus - Tuesday 4 March from 1.00pm- 3.00pm. Students that need to be trialed will be notified.

Registrations for the winter 2015 season are now open. The season runs from 2 May 2015 until 22 August 2015 with games played on a Saturday morning at Southern Districts Netball Centre in Langford. If your daughter(s) is in Year 2-6 and interested in playing, please complete the registration form sent home in note folders recently, or collect a registration form from the school office.

This season our teams will be wearing the new Orana netball uniform!

Registration closes 23rd February 2014 so don't miss out on another great netball season.

Growing Vine is a seniors group run every Friday during the school term from 10.00am till 2.00pm in the church meeting room. Each week the members come together in fellowship and participate in cards, board games, quizzes, sing-a-longs and more, as well as sharing morning tea and lunch together and attending the midday Mass. Lunch outings are also organized approximately twice a term.

Growing Vine is a rewarding and fulfilling ministry for both members and volunteers. New members are most welcome.

We are also looking for volunteers to assist in the kitchen, preparing meals and serving to the members on a once-a-month roster.

After-School Tennis Coaching Clinics (Term 1)

All Kindy to Year 2 children were given a registration form for an After-School Tennis Coaching Clinic starting Friday 20 February between 3.25-4.25pm. We will conduct it on the school basketball courts.

The activity is coordinated and run by Physical Education and/or Soccer Specialists; all with their Working With Children Checks. The Clinic focuses on Maximum Participation during organised and Fun 8 x 1 Hour sessions. The cost for the clinic is $80.00 per child.

If you are interested in letting your child learn and play this World Game in fun sessions and you have not yet registered, then please register online by Wednesday 18 February. Alternatively, you can complete the registration form and return it to Reception by Thursday 19 February. (Spare registration forms are available at Reception). We are having an open day on Sunday 22 February between 10.00am & 2.00pm at the Willetton Sports Club at Burrendah Reserve Willetton. Registration and clothing / uniform orders will be taken on this day. All players of any skill level from Pre Primary to Year 12 are welcome. Costs for registration are:

  • Auskick (Pre Primary-Year 3): $130 per child.
  • Junior / Youth (Yrs 4-10) $200 per child.
  • Youth (Years 11/12) $220 per child.
