LAPATHON

A reminder about our upcoming Lapathon which will be taking place Friday 12 April on the school oval after Assembly. Don't forget to find some sponsors and if you have misplaced your sponsorship sheet, there are spares in the Front Office. Thank you in anticipation of a fabulous response.

CHESS CLUB NEWS

A special guest has been invited to Chess Club next Wednesday. His name is Sethuraman S.P., a Grand Master of chess from India. He has been attending the Sydney Open Chess Competition and is stopping in Perth to visit relatives. His cousin is Sam Vincent, a Year 6 student at Orana. We will begin Chess Club at approximately 7.30am in the hope that our guest can interact with the students for a reasonable amount of time.

NEARER TO NATURE

This autumn school holidays the team at Nearer to Nature are providing children with an exciting range of nature-based activities at Canning River. Children ages 4-7 will delight in Lovely Ladybeetles or making a bush disguise in Camouflage Capers.
