The Orana Instrumental teachers will be entering a number of students and will notify you of this. Students who learn an instrument outside of school are also eligible to be entered by their music teachers. There are categories for all instruments including vocal and piano solos. There is also a category for solo bible reading should anyone be interested in that. If you would like the information and entry forms please see Mrs Draper. Entries need to be back at school by week 2 of term 2.

Term 2 New Rehearsal Times

To allow all children to attend Monday morning assembly there will be a change to band and senior choir rehearsals for next term. Junior Choir will remain the same. Senior choir will move to Wednesday and band to Thursday morning.

Tuesday 8.15 am Junior Choir (Yr 2-3)

Wednesday 8.15 am Senior Choir (Yr 4-6)

Thursday 8.00 - 9.10 am School Band

All rehearsals take place in the music room. Please be on time. If you are late to rehearsal you need to come in quietly. Lateness is not an excuse for missing the rehearsal.

Please Remember to Take Your Instruments Home for the Holidays

Band members have lots of work to do on their band music and choir members need to have all their words learned for next term. All students have their own copies of music and song words so there is no excuse! There are only 10 rehearsals remaining until the Performing Arts Festival. Have you practiced today?
