End of Year Guitar Concert

The Orana Guitar students will be performing an evening concert in Week 7 of this term on Thursday 29 November from 6.00pm - 7.00pm in the School Hall. Family and friends are invited to attend. Corpus Christi Guitar Concert

The Corpus Christi Guitar Concert takes place this Saturday 10 November from 4.00pm - 5.15pm in the Music Department at Corpus Christi College. What a great opportunity to see the great musicianship of the senior guitar players and see what you could achieve in the future!

Choir Rehearsals

The choir will be performing a song for our Remembrance Day Service as well as preparing for the end-of-year Mass and Graduation Mass. Therefore, we are still in full attendance mode right through until the end of the year.

Junior Choir Rehearsals

Next week we have swimming lessons for Years 1-3 and this will affect our Junior Choir practice time. It has been decided, therefore, not to commence rehearsals again for the juniors until next year. We would love to have some of our Junior Choir members join us to sing at the Graduation Mass on Monday 10 December. If you are available to sing at this Mass you will need to attend The Senior Choir Rehearsals for the remainder of the year. These are held from 8.15am - 9.15am on a Monday morning, commencing Monday 19 November.

Instrumental Music Program 2013

Notes will be going out shortly for those students interested in learning an instrument next year. If you are in Yrs 3, 4 or 5 and not continuing next year can you please let Mrs Draper know.

With Australia having one of the highest rates of skin cancer in the world and kids receiving 80% of their lifetime's sun exposure by age 18, we can't afford to postpone action. To sign a request for the City of Canning Council to provide shade cloth over playgrounds within the City, please visit http://www.facebook.com/ShadeCloth4LocalParks The petition remains active until Wednesday
