This term year one students are enjoying hands on experiences with small animals found in the schoolyard environment.

Students are looking at earthworms, snails and ants. We are learning about how they move, feed and protect themselves and habitats that provide for their needs such as food, water and shelter. Science in Year One is LOTS OF FUN!

Year 6's are learning about types of energy.
They looked specifically at water energy by making waterwheels and investigating how the number of blades on the wheel can affect the efficiency of the waterwheel.

National Science Week has been celebrated this week.
